Creetown Heritage Museum, Newton Stewart
An exhibition describing the history of Creetown past and present with historical artefacts, photos, plus video and audio presentations. There's also hands-on experience including exploring the Wigtown Bay nature reserve. Live footage of peregrine falcons and the endangered red squirrel are now shown via CCTV cameras.
Dalbeattie Museum
Visitors can observe and handle household utensils from yesteryear as well as children's toys and games, agricultural, bobbin-making and quarrying tools. The museum also boasts a model of the Titanic and an exhibition covering the tragedy.

Devil's Porridge Exhibition, Eastriggs nr. Annan
The greatest munitions factory on earth was built in Gretna in 1915. The factory employed 30,000workers and measured 9 miles long and 2 miles wide. The exhibition tells the tale of this amazing venture and the secret villages that were constructed to house its' workers.
