* Your booking is taken provisionally until you have paid a refundable security deposit of £250. Upon receipt of the deposit you will receive 250 numbered tickets, in-house advertising posters and a weather-proof front of house banner. It is YOUR responsibility to sell the tickets that are sent - the more tickets you sell ... the better the entertainment package provided.
A minimum of 90 tickets must be sold at £15.00 each in order for the event to take place on a FREE basis. Please inform Mick of your ticket sales on a weekly basis one month prior to the event.
In the unlikely event that your ticket sales should NOT reach the minimum of 90 required you can:
a) Cancel up to 10 days before and lose the £250 deposit.
b) Make up the monetary difference .....
ie. 85 tickets sold @ £15 = £75 due to make the 90 ticket level. This can be deducted from your refundable deposit on the night so instead of getting £250 back you would only receive £175.
IMPORTANT :- Should you cancel within the 10 day period prior to the event then the full minimum fee must be paid ie. 90 tickets @ £15 each = £1350 (- £250 deposit) = £1100
ON THE EVENING OF THE SHOW YOU MUST PAY THE BALANCE OF THE TICKET SALES MINUS YOUR DEPOSIT ... AND RETURN THE ADVERTISING BANNER.
PLEASE NOTE - All ticket sales are due to the Comedy & Curry team regardless of the amount sold. As venue manager you will benefit from NOT having to pay for any entertainment on the night as well as a full house of happy, content and well-fed punters and extremely busy barstaff! Elvis To Be Given 'Kiss Of Life'
Elvis could be on the verge of an amazing showbiz comeback - thanks to one of his warts!
Experts claim scientists will soon be able to clone the singing legend from the unsightly growth which is said to have been surgically removed from Elvis in 1958.
The group ACE (Americans for Cloning Elvis) want to extract a DNA sample from it and produce an exact double of the King.
They are now clamouring for the wart to be handed over to researchers and scientists - but its owner has a 'suspicious mind' about their intentions.
An ACE spokesman said "By the year 2020 we are confident that an Elvis clone will be performing live in Las Vegas".
"Elvis may have left the building in 1977, but the door was always left open for his eventual return. Now it would appear to be just a matter of time".
The wart, said to have been cut from Elvis's wrist in 1958 was bought by artist Joni Mabe.
ACE are confident that the test tube technology used to create Dolly The Sheep from a ewe's cell in Scotland can be deployed for the pioneering project. They have raised a 20,000 name petition on-line urging the government to lift their ban on cloning.
If ACE get their wish, the new Elvistein could be belting out hits like 'Are You Clonesome Tonight' in the near future.
